Congresswoman Escobar Visits

TTUHSC El Paso presented with Congressional Record by U.S. Rep. Veronica Escobar

U.S. Rep. Veronica Escobar (El Paso) toured the Texas Tech Dental Oral Health Clinic on July 6 and learned about the cutting-edge technology our dental students are using to bring smiles to our Borderplex.

Along with her tour, Rep. Escobar met with students and staff in the clinic and presented the university with a special honor.

"This campus is a gift to El Paso," said Rep. Escobar while presenting TTUHSC El Paso Dr. Richard Lange, president of TTUHSC El Paso and dean of the Foster School of Medicine, with a Congressional Record in celebration of our 10th anniversary.

Rep. Escobar also met with Hunt School of Dental Medicine Dean Dr. Richard Black, Hunt School of Nursing Dean Dr. Stephanie Woods and Francis Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences Dean Dr. Rajkumar Lakshmanaswamy.
