Global Perspectives Film Series
The Office of Global Health and Societies presents “Fire in the Blood,” a film that exposes how Western pharmaceutical companies and governments blocked access to affordable AIDS drugs in the 1990s, causing millions of preventable deaths in Africa and the global south. The film highlights the role of activists in saving lives, while examining corporate greed, government collusion, and the power of grassroots activism to drive global change.
25th Annual Rio Grande Trauma Conference and Pediatric Update
This educational activity is designed for emergency medicine; general and orthopaedic surgeons; neurosurgeons; anesthesiologists; radiologists; critical care specialists; advanced practice providers; registered nurses; EMS; physical and occupational therapists and other health care professionals who work in trauma care.

7th Annual 20/20 Borderland Vision Symposium
This educational activity will aim to educate, teach and learn new advances in ocular surgery, eye dryness, retinopathy and prevention of vision loss. This activity will also provide information about the latest advances in our understanding of eye diseases, treatment options and surgical techniques, as well as latest advances and treatment options for retinopathy and corneal pathologies.
