After four years of trials, a research team from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso believes they’ve made a major breakthrough treating gastroparesis. Commonly known as stomach paralysis, gastroparesis is a condition that affects the muscles of the stomach, preventing it from properly emptying.
