Giving back, one step at a time!

Dedicated students with Texas Tech Health El Paso C.A.R.E.S., guided by faculty from the Foster School of Medicine and Hunt School of Dental Medicine, took part in multiple community wellness activities over the Martin Luther King Jr. weekend. The MLK Days of Service initiative allows our campus to connect with our Borderplex and its residents.

Some of the organizations students partnered with included the Kelly Center for Hunger Relief and NAMI El Paso. Together, our students were able to help provide health screenings, and mental health resources, assisting with the food pantry, and even showing off their moves in a Zumba class alongside the community.

Our future doctors and nurses are making a difference in the Borderplex! Way to go, Red Raiders!
