This workshop will teach participants how to identify, detect and prevent fraud during the course of their normal job duties. The workshop explains how and why fraud occurs and how the participant can help with fraud prevention.
This workshop is recommended for employees involved in any facet of the financial operations of the institution, including persons making or authorizing expenditures, handling cash or other funds, processing HR transactions, reconciling procurement card logs or reconciling Banner accounts. Administrators, clinic and departmental business managers, clerks, administrative business assistants and account processors, as well as their supervisors, are highly encouraged to attend.
